BV And Vaginal Odor
The right way to keep vaginal odor in check is to attend to the cause of the difficulty. The cause of vaginal smell can be many [**]. It may be due to unacceptable cleanliness, bacterial infections to cite a couple. In this article I'm going to share details of some of the recognized causes of foul odour and ways to stop it.Vaginal odor is a problem that women learn to tolerate rather than resolving it permanently.
In reality if we are able to know what causes vaginal odor in the 1st place it'd be reasonably easy to prevent it. Personally for me I once suffered from smell for a considerable time. Eventually it came to a point where my self confidence was at its lowest thanks to my smell “down” there. There wasn't any method to get intimate with my partner due to the fear of the odour seeping thru and getting spotted. Even in public like the elevator I was constantly worried just in case somebody caught my smell. Ultimately I made a decision enough was enough.
There was no way I could let my vagina smell could control my life. I tried out 1 or 2 remedies which worked for me. Here I have detailed below some of the things you can do yourself to prevent and treat the vagina odor
1.Keep your labial area dry and clean at all points. Wash with plain water twice a day. If you engage in heavy activity which makes you sweat make sure that you wash without exception after finishing the activity. Remember it doesn't pay to overwash. Washing 2 times a day with standard water is mostly sufficient. Repeated frequent washing can strip the vagina of the commonly present lubricants and cause an infection.
2.Do not use chemical products like deodorant sprays and wipes. These tend to meddle with the vaginal secretion and cause inflammation to fragile mucus surfaces.
3.Wear cotton panties only which absorbs well helping in keeping the vagina dry. Unless absolutely essential don't wear pantyhose, tights, leotards, girdles, spandex, and tight pants.
4.Even if your flow is light do not forget to change your protection at regular intervals. Make absolutely sure to remove tampon at the end of your cycle as leftover tampons are one of the most common factors behind foul vaginal smell.
5. Don't use contraceptive creams or foams in the vaginal area which tend to interfere with your normal flora and cause contagions
6.Taking a bath in Epsom salt water is particularly effective to dispose of vaginal odor. The hot water helps to softly soothe the vaginal irritation and the Epson salt works to dump the foul vaginal smell.
