It is normal for yeast to live in the vagina, however when it begins to multiply, it becomes overwhelming and a yeast infection (also called “Candidiasis”) will produce. Most women note that the excretion smells a tad like baking soda. This could happen to you, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

If you use douches, this could also be a cause. Taking antibiotics has also been known to remove and destroy the necessary bacteria needed to fight these type of vaginal infections.
It is possible that not all symptoms will be present in your body, but even if you are experiencing only one, it may be uncomfortable. There are treatments out there for women who are suffering. You can pick up some oral medication, some anti-fungal cream, or even Monistat. However, if you are still in pain after trying this medications, talk to your doctor.
