Vaginal discharge is not really a cause for concern it can be totally normal. The vaginal discharge is the bodies way of clean the vagina by getting rid of unwanted cells and bacteria. The color, amount and the consistency of this discharge can vary according to the menstrual cycle and the ovulation in the woman. A normal discharge will help the sperm reach the egg helping it live longer on its journey. A normal vaginai discharge can be clear or white and is sometimes watery or slightly thicker. If there is yellow vaginal discharge present, there could be a presence of an infection or other factors causing it. Any sort of bacterial imbalnce will cause a change in ph level. Other things will change the pH level including menstuation, scented soaps, douching, sexual activity.

Any of the following conditions could cause a discharge, PID (pelvic inflammatory disease, STi’s, vaginal cancer, gonorrhea etc. The yellow vaginal discharge may be accompanied by foul smell or strong smell from vagina, itchiness, burning and pain. Always try to keep your personal hygiene in good order. Avoid douching for it may worsen the condition. Douching actually washes awy the good bacteria from the vagina. Always practice safe sex and use a condom this will help protect yourself. no more overly scented soaps or other products. Wear light cotton panties and do not wear nylon or tight fitting underwear. Eat fresh fruits and vegetable and eat curd daily and eliminate foods high in sugar and foods that are spicy, oily and greasy. Drinking water will flush the toxins away from your body.
